Welcome to the Michigan Interscholastic Volleyball Coaches Association or MIVCA website.

This association is organized exclusively for educational purposes: to promote high school interscholastic volleyball; to provide a forum for discussion of techniques and rules of volleyball; to improve the quality and quantity of media coverage high school volleyball; also to promote and develop volleyball at all levels in Michigan.

Updates!

- The Clinic this year was a huge success. As usual Rick and Cheryl Butler from Sports Performance, our main presenters, did and outstanding job. We had over 350 attendees who were treated to excellent presentations on a variety of topics and also enjoyed the banquet and of course our awesome All Star match (details on the match can be found on that page). We look forward to your attendance next year. Any suggestions on how to make it better feel free to let anyone on the Board know and we'll do our best to incorporate your ideas.

- The Coaches Poll which will replace the former Rankings system and is still in need of some Coaches to participate. The job is simple, know the volleyball in your area and vote for your Top 10 Teams in each Class once a week here on the website. The system will do the rest. - If you are looking for dates to fill up your fall schedule, click on the Calendar link to find available tri's, quad's, & tournaments.

- Looking for a new coaching opportunity, click on the Jobs link,  we have positions in MS, HS and Club available.

It's time to complete your 2010 membership form. If you attended the Fall clinic, your membership was included, if you were not able to attend, you need to download the Membership Form and send it to MIVCA. Membership is only $22 if completed by Oct. 1, 2010.
